Windows Phone 7 featuring Google Plus+ spotted online

Probably Google+ is coming to Windows Phone 7, as per the recent image leak – but how authentic is it?

It seems like Google+ is set to make its way for Windows Phone 7, if believe on the leaked image.

The snap we spotted over Internet looks like a Google+ application – the main clue is Google+ lettering over the phone’s screen, it is ensuring that the HTC 7 Trophy Windows Phone 7 handset is running the Google’s latest social networking application.

Kevin Marshall, the one who posted the snap, also used the hashtag #wp7 (the abbreviation for Windows Phone 7) when he tweeted the picture, as our sister concern knowyourmobile.com has mentioned in a report.

However, we will still say that it’s not tough task to insert an image into a gadget to give it real look. For this you just need to work a little bit on Photoshop with any image, so there are chances for image to be a fake.

If we look at Marshall’s blog, he’s sticked to the Windows Phone 7 platform and has been posting related to that topic for an year now.

Besides, it is not a concrete evidence to assure that we will certainly see a Google+ app on Windows Phone 7. Till the time it will be nonsense chopping off parts of the mobile market.

If you are not yet aware of Google+ then we might tell you that it is Google’s latest social networking site. It has features quite like Facebook and Twitter that makes social networking easy and interesting both.

Althogh, it comes with a unique fearture known as Circles, which let the users to split up their feed into groups so, you can filter out mundane tweets or have a group for work.

Google plus comes to Windows Phone 7

Google is a company that has repeatedly proved itself in every arena, except social networking. After the Google Buzz debacle, Google has tried to redeem itself by launching the Google+ social network.

Google + is Google’s attempt to ace Facebook and Twitter. It has tried to compete with these two by providing the Google+ app on almost every smartphone platform. It has already unveiled the Google+ app for the iPhone and Android phones and the Google+ app for Windows phone 7 release next week.

The Google+ app for the Windows Phone 7 is not much different from the Facebook app for the same platform but it does offer some advantages.

Unlike Facebook, where you cannot edit a post after you have posted, the Google + app on your windows phone provides you the ability to modify a post even after sharing it. It has enhanced integration with Google Chat. It has fixed one of the major issues with Facebook, which is its photo-sharing capability. One can instantly upload photos with Google+. Unlike Facebook, you can update Google+ right from your home screen. In addition to that, it also keeps a tab on the user’s location and provides advanced privacy settings. As a Google+ user, you can customize everything as per your own usage whether it is notifications, account settings or anything else.

Google+ has an edge over other social networks as it offers the ability to use applications such as Google Docs and calendar with its circles.

You can also switch this application off on your Windows Phone 7 according to your own convenience.

Google+ has already generated a storm in the market. Its availability on the Windows phone 7 makes it even more popular and provides a win-win situation for both.

Google+ for Windows Phone 7 coming soon

https://i0.wp.com/mobiputing.wpengine.netdna-cdn.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/07/gplus1.jpg

Google is expanding its suite of mobile apps for the Google+ social network. When the service first launched a few weeks ago the company only offered an Android app and a mobile web site. This week an iPhone app hit the iTunes App Store. And now it looks like we’ll see a Windows Phone 7 app next week.

The Google+ social network is still in private beta, which means you can’t start using the service without an invitation. But while invites were pretty scarce in the first few days, Google has been pretty liberal with the invitations recently and there are already millions of registered users.

There are a few key features that set Google+ apart from competitors including Facebook and Twitter. The first is an emphasis on “circles,” or easy to configure groups of contacts. You can create circles by dragging and dropping your contacts into groups using a desktop web browser and then choose which updates you want to share with the public and which you only want to share with specific groups. You can also choose to only view updates from members of groups you’ve created.

The mobile apps also offer a nifty group chat feature that lets you create a “huddle” and invite friends to send messages in real-time. Android users can also enable automatic uploading of photos from their camera roll. The iOS app doesn’t support automatic uploads, but it does allow you to manually send photos from your phone to Google+.

There’s no word on which features will be available in the Windows Phone 7 app, but the Google Plus team put out a list of updates coming next week, and the Windows Phone 7 app is on the agenda.
